The focus will be to deliver all the core permaculture concepts, expand students' knowledge by exposure to projects and speakers in the area, and to complete a real permaculture design at the end of the course. The course fee includes all handout materials, daytime meals and snacks and a course CD with electronic copies of everything at the end of the course (no evening meals or lodging). Optional evening programs/films will take place on most course weekends. This course is closer to 100 hours of instruction and coursework rather than the minimum 72-hour format offered on most PDC courses.
