The course, offered in conjunction with Terra Genesis International, will be taught by a team of instructors including guests Christian Shearer and Darren Bender-Beauregard. It will cover both the fundamental theory of permaculture as well as a selection of temperate-climate and urban-to-rural design strategies. Logistics: This course will be held over a two week period, from Monday, August 15th to Friday, August 26th. Classes will run weekdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm and include lunch and refreshments. Some housing is available for out-of-towners. We hope to offer child care for a small additional fee. Please contact us if you think you will need housing or childcare. Cost: Because we believe that permaculture knowledge and skills should be available to all people, regardless of income, we are excited to offer a full certificate course for only $500. Please note that PDC courses are often offered at costs upward of $1,500. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a place in the course. With sufficient enrollment, we will open a limited number of full and half-priced scholarships.
