The Curriculum

This course will cover the core Mollison 72 hour Permaculture Design curriculum, with 24 additional hours of class time to include a focus on right-Livelihood, bioregional information and time sensitive ecological issues.

Jude and Tom have a combined experience of over 40 years of teaching and in the design field. Their commitment to encouraging diverse learning styles inspires you to build upon your unique strengths and talents. They model various ways of teaching, including: lecture, discussions, lesson planning, visual aids, storytelling and facilitating. Each participant will be offering several presentations, which provides essential hands-on experience.

Course Description -

This dynamic residential program includes a full permaculture design course, and provides a holistic introduction to ecovillages, intentional communities and social permaculture.

Topics include:

You will learn practical solutions to environmental and social problems that you can implement in your own life, in your local community, and on larger scales. You will also develop skills that help you foster communities that are more ecologically regenerative, socially cooperative, and personally satisfying.

Spend a summer living in a heart-centered intentional community, on 87 acres of forests, meadows, organic gardens, hiking trails, pond, and a creak. Mountains, old growth, and hot springs nearby.
